ParaCell 2005 - 2016

ParaCell started in a small scale its operations in the autumn of 2005 in Stockholm, Sweden. The founders then left their employments with the vendor Ericsson after long international careers and with a high portion of enthusiasm started up ParaCell.

With vast experience from the telecom industry and emerging markets, the mission for the company was set – to provide project services internationally, with focus on the developing markets, i.e. Africa, Asia, Middle East and Latin America.
The response from the market was very positive and ParaCell grew fast, both in geographical reach as well as number of staff and contracted assignments.

2006: ParaCell moved into its first own premises in Torshamnsgatan in Kista outside Stockholm, an address we still operate from.

2007: subsidiaries were started in Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia) and Johannesburg (South Africa) and today Paracell has more people employed abroad than in Sweden. Moreover, hundreds of consultants are working through ParaCell on short/mid-term assignments.

2008: ParaCell decided to offer project services also on the Scandinavian market and recruited staff for such assignments.

2009: Presence was established in Latin America (Brazil). More customers were added to the reference list and we were selected as a global partner for some of our most important customers.

2010: ParaCell offered team solutions for several larger deployment projects and established itself as a real partner for vendors and operators in Managed Services projects.

2011: ParaCell has partnered with FindOut Technologies AB in Kista for development of a contract management tool (”Kite”), making us a complete partner for service projects.

2012: ParaCell gained more footprint on the domestic Nordic market and further developed its Consultancy and Software offerings.

2014: Strong growth in the mobile data domain, making new competence required in many organisations.

2016: Asian expansion with ParaCell ramping up activities in the Malaysian office.

Holger has more than 30 years in the IT/telecom industry in different management positions in Sweden and internationally. Holger is today active in several entrepreneur companies of various size as board member and advisor.

Rickard Anderberg

Rickard spent more than ten years with Ericsson before joining ParaCell. The positions included SW development, product marketing and key account management. Rickard is now driving the international contracting business for the company as well as business development.

Per enjoyed a twenty year career in Ericsson ranging from Hardware design to Operations and was assigned to international positions in the project domain of significant size. Per is now heading up the international Operations side and the Scandinavian market in ParaCell.

ParaCell sponsors an education project for children in Ivory Coast since 2007.

In 2006 Save the Children Sweden and UK started a program in 9 out of 14 provinces in Ivory Coast to help the country build up the education capabilities for children and offer them proper primary education. The project follows after a period of unrest in Ivory Coast where some 700,000 children could not attend school during several years because of the hostilities.

n end 2009, the project had provided 81,541 school kits to students, rehabilitated 86 schools and identified 63 new schools for rehabilitation. 300 teachers have been trained in child-friendly teaching methods and children rights, 491 teachers’ kits have been provided and 787 kits with additional items for teachers were distributed to the teachers who have received the kits previous years. Furthermore, the project has supported education centers, given sports equipment to 100 schools and educated many school management groups and committees. Additionally, 3 new non-formal education centers have been completed in Bondoukou.

The project goals are that 200,000 children in 9 regions in Ivory Coast will complete a cycle of quality primary education in safe participatory learning environments by end 2010.
